Cards One Comic Book “Grab Bags” from Dollar Tree, Part 1

I hit up dollar stores every once in a while for different things.  I had never seen comic books before, but then the Dollar Tree by me had these two-packs!  Now, I love coming through dollar bins (or quarter bins, or whatever price-bin it may be) for comics, especially One-Shots and cover art that catches my eye.  So when I could tell there were some books I’d enjoy at the price of “Two for $1” I couldn’t say no.  Each bag contained a trading card as well, mostly from the movie “baby”, which I have not seen yet; but it is about dinosaurs so I will be watching it.  I was not expecting there to be any key issues or “grails” in this bunch, but I was still excited just to see what was in these bags – and I was not disappointed.  I’ve italicized my favorites.

  • Dollar General is also a pretty good place to check out sometimes. Back in the 90s, my brother and I found the Gambit miniseries and the Sabretooth miniseries for $5 each there. And just a month ago, my brother bought a 6 pack of comics, with planet of the apes and Shaun of the dead in it for $5.
