Words often have more than one opposite. For example, everyone’s like “Oh, the opposite of progress is congress, ha ha ha.” When really there’s, uh, “progress” and there’s “regress“. Right? Well with “antibiotics” you got the same thing. Opposite to antibiotics is “probiotics“, the opposite of probiotics isn’t necessarily antibiotics, maybe it’s “amateurbiotics”.
