Google Glass debuts in UK

Google announced Monday that citizens in the United Kingdom can now purchase its wearable device Google Glass through a beta program. UK residents over the age of 18 can now sign up for the Explorer Program, an invite-only beta test program, to help Google develop the wearable product for consumer sale. Glass, eyewear that allow users to take pictures, read emails and access navigation apps while on the go, was launched by the search engine giant first in the United States in 2012 through the Explorer Program, then released to general consumers in May. Until today, only people with a U.S. address could buy the product. Google released a video for their UK debut:
